Home Sweet Home :: Greek Yogurt Parfait

A quick and easy way to make a healthy, light breakfast.

1/2 cup of nonfat Greek yogurt
1 whole banana (sliced)
a handful of dried cranberries
some nuts (i used sunflower seeds and walnut pieces)

Just mix in all of the ingredients together and enjoy!

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. With so many ways to make a quick and healthy breakfast, you never have to skip on your morning meals 😀
This particular Greek yogurt I had this morning is Fage’s Total O% Greek Yogurt and it has an excellent source of protein. A whopping 23g of protein in just one cup! That’s 46%!! As a comparison, chicken breast is about 30% protein. They say chicken breast is the best source of protein there is, but from what I see, Greek yogurt has a higher protein content than chicken breast does.

The recommended amount of daily protein intake is 56g for men and 46g for women. Are you getting enough protein?
